When Chrysler mixed with Fiat on June ten, 2009, there had been cause for hope and positivism. On paper it appeared like a fair deal for everyone. A variety of safety enhancements have found their way into the later models, for example further beams for the front doors, a better safety cage, higher head restraints to reduce whiplash injuries, and safer multistage airbags than new Jeep.
